Southfork Resort Fishing Information
The South Fork is known for Smallmouth, Largemouth, Kentucky bass, Perch, and other species. The Southfork has been designated a Quality Smallmouth stream by the State of Arkansas. There are many 5 and 6 pound Smallies pulled out of the water in front of the resort every year. We have many children and adults alike that catch their first fish here at Southfork.
We offer may trips to cater to our fishermen. We have numerous trips on 3 separate rivers for your enjoyment.
On the Southfork our trips range from a short 3 mile float all the way to a 46 mile 4 day float. These trips are excellent for Bass, Perch and Catfish.
On the Spring River we have a few trips ranging from 3 miles to 12 miles. These trips are excellent for Trout, Walleye, Bass, Perch, and even the occasional Tiger Musky.
On Myatt Creek we have a couple of trips available. Ranging from 6 to 10 miles. This is some of the best smallmouth fishing available. However , this trip is very water dependant. You will most likely be wade fishing as much as you are in your canoe but that is a small price to pay for the fish you catch. The things we do for fish...
