HOORAY !  We still have ALL  of our South Fork trips open BUT, the water is dropping and some people are starting to report dragging. It looks like we will have 1 or 2 more weeks with the Smithford trip open. As of now the fishing is OUTSTANDING! We have had alot of boats going down to Slick Rock catching 80-90 fish. In fact we have had 8 fish in the last 2 weeks that have been 19" or larger. From talking to some of the regulars this is the best fishing has been is as long as they can remember. So you need to come soon and enjoy the fantastic small mouth fishing while the water is still good.

The Benton Ford trip has been producing some nice fish. There have been caught several 16 to 18'' Smallies on the pumpkinseed or watermelon seed hula grub, and the imitation Rebel crawfish, all sold here at our tackle shop.

Floating is great  fun on the Spring .  You will get wet, so bring an extra set of dry clothes!  Our 12 mile trip is a fun adventure. we like to compare it to "playing football with rocks",  you can definitely get bumps and bruises.

Trout fishing is popular all year long on the Spring River. Corn is usually the bait of choice. Fly fishing with nymphs and wooly buggers is working the best.  We recommend Bayou Access during the weekdays, or take our Dam 3 canoe trip, anytime.  We carry the new corn made by Berkley, and Gulp power baits, which has 417 times more scent than regular power bait.. Early in April, the trout were abundant, several 3 pounders caught.  Lately,  most folks are catching their limit at Bayou Access.

The Spring River offers excellent trout, walleye and bass fishing.  The Spring River has Class II & III whitewater canoeing and kayaking available. Check out Canoe Trips for more information. Also we are featuring a short family trip on the Spring River, mainly class 1&2 rapids throughout most of the float. The kids love to do High Falls !!

Water levels are too low  for floating Myatt Creek.. Rain changes the water level frequently, so call before planning a Myatt trip to check on water levels.  This is a scenic little creek that showcases the best of Arkansas’ natural beauty. Trophy size Smallmouth, Largemouths, and other bass are  there if your timing and technique are right, you can snag a big one, in the spring time.
